WASHINGTON - The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that local governments may seize people’s homes and businesses — even against their will — for private economic development.
The 5-4 ruling represented a defeat for some Connecticut residents whose homes are slated for destruction to make room for an office complex. They argued that cities have no right to take their land except for projects with a clear public use, such as roads or schools, or to revitalize blighted areas.
As a result, cities now have wide power to bulldoze residences for projects such as shopping malls and hotel complexes in order to generate tax revenue.

You would everything you could to stop this? Exactly what would that be? You revealed the depth of your stupidity by stating on ATPN that you didn’t even know SCOTUS judges could be impeached! So now your excuse is that since no judge has ever been impeached there’s no way you should have known they could be? It’s in the fucking Constitution you fucking moron. How can anyone who says they’re running for President not know that? Evidently Conjur didn’tknow that either since when he doesn’t have his appendage that makes you squeal stuck up your ass, he has his hand up there making you talk. And that would change the ruling of the court exactly how? dmcdumbfuck posted that comment in the context of him being President. Of course, the stupid POS had no idea how or that SCOTUS judges could be impeached followed by his usual lame excuse (ref. DU Lite otherwise known as ATPN). Then you weigh in with a really pertinent comment about corrupt politicians. I’ll ask again . . . How does doing what you suggest reverse or stop the process of eminent domain or the SCOTUS ruling from earlier this week? Try knowing what you’re talking about before removing all doubt about your stupidity. Otherwise you’ll just look as stupid as the idiot that cuts and pastes articles on this site.

This does stink, traditionally emimen rapper domain was reserved for community development like waterworks or highways to allow for further expansion of that community. They gotta put a highway somewhere, or the community gets ’stuck’ and can grow no further. Our country just made a decision to say: “Welcome to Walmart!”
